I had the pleasure of featuring on Bloomberg TV this morning shortly after the release of UK CPI data, printing a 40-year high of 9.4%. Yes, the last few days have seen some risk-on action, but I’m personally not convinced. The main drivers behind the market selloffs we’ve seen are still in motion, notably central bank hikes. I also discuss whether the ECB could hike 50bp tomorrow, and whether the dollar has more room to rally.
