Macro Hive Launches Summer Internship Programme

As the world emerges from its COVID hibernation, Macro Hive is launching its Summer Internship Programme. This will be for recent graduates and be based at our London offices. And the kicker is that full-time roles will be available to successful interns.

In case you didn’t know, Macro Hive is one of the most exciting new start-ups and is focused on producing global macro and financial market insights. We started just as the pandemic struck in 2020, and we have become the go-to investment research service for the top hedge funds and asset managers worldwide as well as a rare trusted voice for retail investors. We provide research on crypto, macro markets, economics and more.

So, here’s what we’re looking for: upcoming or recent graduates (i.e., graduating this year or graduated last year) who can work in London for four weeks starting either in July or August. We have four paid intern roles available:

1. Macro Researcher – someone who is curious about market dynamics, thinks in a structured way and can work with numbers. A finance or econ degree is helpful but not essential. You’d work with Bilal and the team in constructing views on the next big market move.

2. Quant/Machine Learning Researcher – someone who codes, loves Python, hates Excel, lives and breathes machine learning and understands time series analysis. Having a computer science, engineering, maths or physics background would be helpful. Projects will include building machine learning trading models on crypto markets.

3. Sales Intern – someone who has a nose for where the money is, thinks in a structured way about lead generation and is not scared of spreadsheets. You’ll be interacting with the world’s top investors, so no pressure.

4. Marketing Intern – someone who has a social media presence, can dream up great marketing slogans/videos and understands how to break down audiences into different segments.
