Monetary Policy
Australia, Poland and India will all hold policy meetings over the coming week. None are expected to ease policy, although in India it’s a when, not an if. Several Fed, ECB and BoE speakers are scheduled, including Powell, Lagarde and Tenreyro.
Data
PMI releases will take center stage this week. China is expected to report continued gains in manufacturing and services, while for Europe the bad news on services from the earlier flash readings will be confirmed. On hard data, Q3 GDP data in Turkey, Brazil and Australia will be in focus. But more important for forthcoming monetary policy decision will be the inflation releases in the Euro-area, Russia, Turkey and Indonesia.
